Robert M. Richter, APM

Robert M. Richter, APM, is a vice president at SunGard Corbel LLC in Jacksonville, FL. Robert manages the consulting department, which is responsible for drafting and supporting qualified retirement plans, cafeteria plans and self-funded health plans. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to cafeteria plans and qualified retirement plans. Robert is a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Council and is a member of numerous associations including The Florida Bar and NIPA. He received his B.S.B.A. degree (major in finance) from the University of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Florida State University and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Florida.

Volunteer Opportunities

Members of ASPPA are invited to serve on more than a dozen committees focused on various aspects of the retirement plan profession or related public policy. Included among the volunteer opportunities are: groups focused on raising public awareness about issues and policies affecting retirement planning; congressional communication activities; assisting with national and regional conferences; new member outreach; local chapter liaison efforts; and many others.
