William D. Hackler has worked extensively in the administration of 401(k), pension and profit sharing plans since 1995. He graduated from Bryant College with a B.S. in Finance, and earned the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries designation of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), recently received designation as Enrolled Retirement Plan Agents (ERPA). Additionally, he holds the Accredited Pension Representative (APR) designation from National Institute of Pension Administrators.
Will is a member of ASPPA’s NextGen Committee and the ABC sub-committee.

Adam is the vice president of consulting services for Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group in Reading, Massachusetts. He specializes in working with business owners, executives and their other professional advisors on plan design and compliance issues related to qualified plans. Adam assists companies in assessing benefit programs as part of business transactions, and he works with clients to address plan errors under the IRS and Department of Labor correction programs.
Adam serves on ASPPA’s national board of directors as well as the government affairs and conferences committees. He is a past-president of the ASPPA Benefits Council of Atlanta and the current president of the ASPPA Benefits Council of New England. Adam is a nationally recognized author and lecturer and is a regular contributor to The Journal of Pension Benefits. In addition to speaking at ASPPA conferences, he has also lectured on retirement plan topics for WEB, the AICPA, NASBA and several state CPA societies. Adam has provided testimony to the ERISA Advisory Council and has co-authored several regulatory comment letters and proposals to the Treasury Department and Congress.
Adam holds the professional credentials of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from ASPPA as well as Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) from the American College. He is also an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA).
Z. John Skapars graduated Boston University (College of Liberal Arts, A.B., magna cum laude, 1968, Phi Beta Kappa; School of Law, J.D., cum laude, 1971). He was admitted to the bar in Massachusetts in 1971, and is a member of the Boston, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations. Since 1993, he has been a partner, and is now the owner, of the Massachusetts law firm of Skapars & Associates, P.C. which concentrates its practice in all facets of employee benefits law, including ERISA and employee benefits issues regarding qualified pension, profit-sharing and employee stock ownership plans; section 403(b) plans; welfare benefit plans; and nonqualified deferred compensation plans.

Andrew B. Ledewitz has been in the retirement field since 1989 when he did summer work for a small TPA firm while in college. He has worked in administration, documents, and consulting (IRS/DOL) and is currently the head of Documents and ERISA Consulting at Sentinel Benefits & Financial Group. Andy graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Economics and from Bentley College (now Bentley University) with an M.B.A. in Taxation. He has earned the ASPPA designations of CPC, QPA, and QKA as well as the IRS designation of ERPA.
Andy has been an ASPPA member since 1999 and has served on various committees and sub-committees.
Larry is an assistant director of ERISA Compliance for The Hartford in Boston, MA. He has more than 14 years experience in the retirement industry and his group oversees Testing, Reporting, Plan Design and Consulting for defined contribution plans.
Larry is actively involved with ASPPA at both the local and national level. He has served as the President and Liaison of the ASPPA Benefits Council of New England and currently holds the position of Treasurer. On the national level, Larry serves as the Co-chair of the ASPPA Benefits Council program (ABC).

Bernie Kaplan joined CBIZ Tofias in 1985 and is the Managing Director in Charge of the Retirement Plan Services Group. He is responsible for providing consulting, design and implementation of retirement plans; representation of clients before the IRS and DOL; and administration services related to qualified retirement plans including profit sharing, pension, 401(k), 403(b) and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs).
Bernie has over 25 years experience as a pension consultant and has provided technical support to government officials and expert testimony regarding the private pension system. Bernie is the founder and past Chairman of the National Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Prototype Retirement Program and was an adjunct professor at Boston University, teaching a retirement planning course for the University's Certified Financial Planning (CFP) Program.

Brian Olson has worked within the retirement industry since 1994. He is currently a Vice President responsible for the day to day operations of a large retirement service provider. Brian has an Associates degree in Business from Dean College and a BS in Business Management from Lesley College. He earned his Pension and Employee Benefits certificate from Bentley College and the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He actively works with a number of professional organizations that are committed to supporting the retirement industry; The Spark Institute’s Government Relations Committee, Investment Company Institute and National Investment Company Service Association Retirement Committee.

Peter is a Regional Sales Manager located in the Simsbury, Connecticut office.
Peter began his financial services career in 1986 and has been focused on
retirement plan sales for over 16 years. Prior to joining Securian in 2005, Peter
gained valuable experience in both insurance and retirement plan sales with
three major insurance companies.
Peter is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries
(ASPPA) New England Benefits Council. He has volunteered with his
local Habitat for Humanity organization and, as a father of three children, he
also serves his community by volunteering as a youth sports coach.
A graduate of Ithaca College in New York, Peter holds FINRA Series 6 and 63
registrations, and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).
