With over 12 years of experience in employee benefits, Brian is focusing his practice on the design, installation and operation of qualified and non-qualified retirement and welfare plans (e.g. 401(k) plans, ESOPs, pension plans, 457 plans, COBRA, medical reimbursement plans, executive compensation).  This includes assisting clients on complying with their benefit-related fiduciary duties; drafting of plan documents including amendments and summary plan descriptions; consulting with employers and fiduciaries on problem solving in relation to the management and operation of the plans; representing clients involved in Internal Revenue Service audits and Department of Labor investigations; and providing technical advice to administrators and actuaries.

Brian earned the Qualified Pension Administrator designation in 1999 and the Certified Pension Consultant designation in 2000 from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).  Prior to joining GrayRobinson, he worked in various positions within the Retirement Plan Services department of large financial institution.  During that time, he handled the daily administration of qualified employer plans as well as the annual nondiscrimination testing and government reporting.

Timothy B. Caldwell has been creating and servicing qualified retirement plans for privately-owned businesses since 1984.  He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Tim’s expertise includes extensive knowledge of accounting and tax management practices allowing him to provide his clients, CPAs, and attorneys detailed assistance in the design, implementation, and maintenance of qualified and nonqualified plans.

Tim joined Pension Investors Corporation of Orlando, Inc. in 1994 and in addition to traditional employee benefit programs, he expanded his level of service to his clients in the area of age-weighted, cross-tested and defined benefit plans. Tim is a member and active participant in the ABC of Central Florida and the Central Florida Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Michelle has been a member of the ASPPA and the local ABC since 2004.  In 2007 she assisted the E&E committee with reviewing the RFP-1 course materials, and in 2009 became a member of the ABC Board.  She assumed the position of Secretary effective January 2010.  Michelle has been in the Defined Contribution Recordkeeping business since 1986, and currently works as a Defined Contribution Implementations Systems Analyst for Hewitt Associates, LLC in the Orlando, FL office.  Previous to that, she worked for SunTrust Banks in Orlando, where she managed a conversion team, and provided project management, conversion, recordkeeping, and compliance services for 401(k) plans. 

Michelle earned the ASPPA QKA designation in 2004, and the QPA designation in 2007. Michelle has also earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation in 1991.  She graduated Magna cum Laude & Phi Beta Kappa in 1985 from the University of South Carolina, with a B.S. degree in Finance.

Nancy practices in the Tax department of Aveett, Warmus, Durkee where her responsibilities include technical review, tax research and tax planning for a wide variety of the firm’s practice areas. Additionally, she is responsible for training tax staff.  Her areas of expertise are in tax compliance, multi-state taxation, business analysis, operational and financial consulting, succession planning, IRS audit support, and tax planning and transaction structure.  Nancy works with clients in exempt organizations, retail distributors, the construction industry, and professional associations.

John has more than 25 years of experience working on strategic, operational and financial issues. His experience includes public accounting, management consulting, and benefit plan consulting. John worked for more than 3 years in Europe while based in Wiesbaden, Germany. He oversaw finance and accounting for more than 20 offices for a global management consulting firm. His experience also includes auditing large benefit plans, including 401K's and Employee Stock Ownership Plans.
John has consulted with various organizations at the ownership level, helping with corporate strategies in order to enhance growth opportunities as well as attract and retain employees through implementation of effective retirement programs. John’s experience in the design and implementation of retirement plans helps insure the right plan is implemented to suit the needs of any specific organization. He also has experience in administering non-qualified deferred compensation plans.
John is currently a board member of the ASPPA Benefits Council of Central Florida and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professional and Actuaries. In addition he is involved with various groups focused on qualified retirement plans.

Michelle has 13 years of banking experience of which 8 1/2 years have been with SunTrust’s Employee Benefit Solutions.  Michelle earned her Qualified 401(k) Adiministrator (QKA) designation from American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in January of 2006. 

Michelle graduated from University of Central Florida where she earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources.
